Thayer Conservation Area

This 15 acre property is made up of two separate but adjacent parcels consisting of woodlands and wetlands.

Public Access

The Thayer Conservation Area is open to the public, however there are currently no paths or trails on the property. Access is from Perryville Road.

Project/Property Background

This was the first piece of property donated to the Rehoboth Land Trust.

Conservation Purposes

The purpose for conserving this property was wetlands protection.

Land Owner/Funding Partners

The property is owned by the Rehoboth Land Trust. It was donated to the RLT by Harvey Hill Thayer and Mary Ann and William Makepeace.

Thayer Conservation Area

Directions: From the intersection of Route 118 and US Route 44, head north for ¾ of a mile to Perryville Road. Take a left on to Perryville Road for about ½ mile. Thayer Conservation Area will be on your left.
